What our customers are saying about us
A great benefit of great accommodation facilities is that you can capitalize on positive reviews and lower the barriers your clients must hurdle to experience excellent service.
We stayed for three nights in late December, during the pandemic and wanted to open with all the precautions which are being made for covid. You are greeting with warm water and soap for a through hand wash, followed by hand sanitizer. Every precaution is being taken to keep you safe. All the casitas have wonderful lake views and we enjoyed sunrise and sunset each night. The staff was marvelous – cleaning mud soaked shoes after our gorilla trek and looking after every detail. The food was wonderful – you had a couple of menu choices. The rooms themselves are amply furnished and have decks with comfortable loveseats. You can walk down to the lake and canoe. There is a nice dock with lounge chairs if you prefer to just hang out. They will also help you organize activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Great locations with STUNNING lake views!
The first thing that strikes you about this lodge is the fabulous views! I spent hours mesmerised by the views (evident from the number of photos taken!).
Please note: this property is not to be confused with another property with a similar sounding name. This property is Lake Mulehe ‘Gorilla’ Lodge – while the other property has a similar name with the word ‘Safari’ instead of ‘Gorilla’.
Newly constructed, it is evident a lot of passion has gone into the building of this property. Built on a slope, the rooms are at different levels on the hillside. the common areas are in the middle of the slope. Hence, if you are allocated the furthermost cottages, be prepared for some ‘training’ exercises before your Gorilla tracking…Read More:
Fantastic Views of the Lake and the distant mountains!
We stayed there for 2 nights for gorilla trekking from Rwanda with Kagera Safaris. Due to coronavirus outbreak we were unfortunately the only quests there. But still the staff were happy and friendly and did all they could to make us feel like home. A young man called Emmanuel was especially great learning some new phrases in Finnish every day for us 🙂 He really is in the right job!
The small village next to the lodge was really interesting and we had a very nice walk there followed by the local kids
We totally enjoyed our stay and would recommend to everybody!
Beatiful lodge in beautiful surroundings
My husband and I stayed at Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge for three nights at the end of a fantastic 12 day trip around Uganda. When we arrived at the lodge all the lovely staff came out to greet us. The scenery around the lodge is breathtaking. I could sit and look at the view across the lake to the mountains all day long. When we arrived in reception the lovely lady chef came to speak to me straight away regarding my diet as my meals needs to be gluten free. The chef had done her research (she told me she had read up about coeliac disease), and the food which she prepared and cooked for me, making sure all utensils were clean so there was no cross contamination, were some of the most delicious meals I have ever tasted. I have never been treated so well, not even in the UK. Our room was very large and very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious with lots of hot water. After we had settled in, a lovely young man, named John, asked us if we would like to go for a walk around the village. We walked through beautiful banana plantations and met some of the local children…Read more
